And classical music enthusiasts also appreciate John Williams' soundtracks. It's no wonder that the phenomenal score and compositions of Star Wars have been declared the 'greatest film music of all time.' The Star Wars Suite played to full houses in the Netherlands in 2018, 2019, and 2022, and it's returning to Eindhoven. Join us on a musical journey through the highlights of the Star Wars trilogies. Let yourself be carried away by the heroic adventures of Luke Skywalker and his friends as they battle against Darth Vader and the evil Emperor.

Just imagine: composing film music for this heroic space opera. Music that does justice to and even enhances a universe of spaceships, planets, lightsabers, robots, aliens, and superpowers. Williams has remarkably succeeded in musically accompanying the breathtaking visuals in an impressive way. Without his melodies, the films would not be half as thrilling and magical.

The initiator of The Star Wars Suite in the Netherlands is composer, pianist, and conductor Raymond Janssen. Similar to the highly successful Lord of the Rings concerts and the renowned Carmina Burana, The Star Wars Suite is performed by The International Symphony Orchestra from Lviv and the National Choir of Ukraine ‘Dumka.’ In total, there are more than 140 young, talented, and passionate musicians who are internationally acclaimed.
